DIGITAL INFORMATION SYSTEM IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT LAND CERTIFICATION IN KEBUMEN REGENCY
Abstract
The utilization of digital information systems in securing regional assets plays a crucial role in enhancing efficiency and transparency in government administration. This article discusses internship experiences within the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, focusing on the implementation of digital information systems in the certification of government-owned land in Kebumen Regency. The activities involved various processes, including data collection, document verification, and monitoring land certification through a digital system. The results of this experience indicate that digitalization helps accelerate administrative processes, improve data accuracy, and reduce the risk of errors and asset mismanagement. However, several challenges remain, such as limited technological infrastructure and users’ lack of familiarity with the new system. Therefore, increasing human resource capacity and optimizing technological infrastructure are essential to support a more effective implementation of digital information systems in regional asset management.
